Organizational Assessments

We initiate each engagement with an organizational assessment. Our  twofold goal is to understand the mission and to address how well the mission is supported by the organization’s infrastructure.

A simple assessment is summarized in an Observation and Opportunity (OO) Report which provides an organizational overview, reflects the interviews/surveys of stakeholders, and reviews systems/policy documentation. The report highlights observations and opportunities by system to strengthen the business of the organization. The organization’s need determines the level of inquiry conducted by the assessments.

Assessments may review governance structure, policies, funding diversity and sustainability, financial profile, internal fiscal controls, staffing level, development, and human resource practices, fund development planning and execution, program outcomes/evaluation measures, succession planning, communications, data practices, and community collaborations.

 

Executive Search

Each search is custom designed to meet the needs of the organization. Our professional and confidential process begins with a commitment to reach a common understanding of the status of the organization; develop a prioritized list of what is needed for leadership success; prepare a job description and a hiring criteria that identifies the specific competencies required by the organization to reach their desired future.

We understand that long-term leadership strength is often the consequence of balancing community understanding, passion, and commitment to mission-focused results, with critical senior level management and leadership skills.

 

Post-hire Executive Support (Coaching or Onboarding)

Onboarding can be either an extension of the search process or a service elected by an executive to increase his or her leadership capacity.

 

Change Management

Change is inevitable. Growth is optional. As change is generated within your organization we listen, analyze correlations, seek collaborations and support your organization’s existing realities. We believe executive leadership matters a great deal and offer an external perspective and analysis often not possible from inside an organization. We walk the journey of change with our clients.
